Nvidia backs massive OpenAI Ohio data center with up to $105 billion in guarantees

Nvidia has committed up to $105 billion in guarantees supporting OpenAI's long-term lease of a major AI data-center project in Ohio, according to Reuters.

The SB Energy development is expected to scale toward 8 gigawatts, illustrating the enormous capital, power and infrastructure requirements now surrounding frontier AI deployment.
