OpenAI Presence brings production AI agents to enterprise workflows

OpenAI has introduced Presence, an enterprise product for deploying AI agents across customer-facing and internal workflows.

Presence combines model reasoning with company-defined permissions, policies, guardrails and escalation rules. Agents can answer questions, use approved systems, take authorized actions and hand work to people when required.
